In 2012, Russia continues to be the main destination outside the EU for the Spanish exports of fruit and vegetables. In February, shipments grew 50% regarding the same months of 2011, adding up to 47,362 tons.

Moldova has increased its agriculture production in January-September by 8,7% comparing with the same period in 2009. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the growth has been marked in animal husbandry - by 15,5% and in crop production - by 4,4%.
Stone fruits impress most of all - the productivity comprises 39,1 centners per hectar, which is half more than it was at the corresponding period in 2009. The feed crop is also good this year (corn silage and alfalfa) - 158.9 centners per hectar (+45%), grain maize - 31,4 centners per hectar (+31%), potato - 130.9 centners per hectar (+ 17%).
At the same time the yield of grapes compunds only 28.6 centners per hectar. It is only 74% of last year's level.
